Patrick focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, business law, banking and commercial lending, and Minnesota township law. Patrick works with a variety of lenders, including credit unions, banks, hard-money lenders, and agricultural lenders, assisting them with commercial lending and advising them on compliance and regulatory issues. He assists business clients with organization/incorporation, leases, landlord/tenant law, liens, and ownership rights, as well as real estate acquisition, development, zoning, and land use issues. Patrick also advises and assists Minnesota townships with a variety of issues, including drafting ordinances, resolutions, planning and zoning, and boundary-line adjustments, to name a few.
Patrick graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where he was a Constance L. Bakken/Mitchell Hamline Fellow, participated in Law Review and the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court, and interned for The Hon. Kevin S. Burke in Minnesota’s Fourth Judicial District, Minneapolis, and The Hon. Jeanne Cochran at the Office of Administrative Hearings.
Following law school, and prior to entering private practice, Patrick clerked for The Hon. Sean C. Gibbs in the Tenth Judicial District of Minnesota, Anoka County.
During his free time, Patrick enjoys going up north to his family’s cabin in Namakagon, Wisconsin, with his wife and their Irish Wolfhound. Patrick serves as Director of the Northstar Irish Wolfhound Club.
